    Default VMware hellp

    Hello to all
    I am new in this domain so I need help.Two days ago I try to install a VMware mashine on my laptop ahd all goes ok but wen I try to restart the lap. get a blue screen with a error mesage saying something about wrong new program installed.
    So I was thinking my OS will create just problems and I reinstall my Wind. again and install once again the vitual machine but same problem.
    After that I was thinking te machine version is not compatibile with my OS and get other 3 older version and install it and same time with new Wind. installation but the blue screen persist apear after machine installation.If not machine sistem work good but with machine I get blue screen.
    Can someone advice me what shell I do to can install this machine without problem.
    My laptop is a HP Compaq nx9420 and OS is XP PRO SP3.
    Please help me!

    Forgot to say the lap.is:
    Genuine Intel(R) CPU
    T2400 @ 1,83GHz
    2,5GB of RAM
    HDD 500GB

    I was trying 7.0 ; 6.5.1 ; 6.5.3 and 6.0.0. but all with same results.
    Did you have one version who can work good with my sistem?

    install Windows 7 on ur PC, and try installing VMWare again...

    Thanks m8 for help , I get too this version but afraid to install it because after 5 times wind. reinstall I am angry.It must be something from mi bios setting because I talk with other guys and they use this machine but no one can tell me how to do this setting and sure I need some patch for my harware (4year old) to suport this virtuals.
