    How do I find what firmware ver is on the box??..

    can i ask u please how you go on about deleting the old firm ware of system info so i can add 1.12 firm ware , can not seem to get old 1.00 to delete, thanks for help,

    sfaik, you dont need to delete, just put 1.12 on.i've put 1.12 on after 1.07, no probs...
    btw, i thought you had an sv6 type....

    yes there is no 1.00 for starview 4, so if you have sv6, load latest for box and then do factory settings, it should then run on new firmware.

    ok thanks i have the sv 6 so i do not need it. it is for a friend of mine that has one,thanks for help, while i am on at present with out sever got about 40% of channels have to use sever some times to get kids channels, can i ask you please when how long does server last for sv 6, and when it does not cornect to sever how does do i get my self a sever for sv 6, your help would be very help full,

    thats why crap happens and boxes get bricked always read the name on front of unit to match up files as its very important,also reading the tuts/instructions of how to do it,it is very easy to damage starviews and if files are compressed will need to be extracted first.

    server hit and miss a year if your lucky if not it can go at any time like in irl its gone

    Hi Guys can anyone please help i have a starview 4 the super usb but lost all channels on it now got firmeware 1.12 on it but rescans do not find channels anymore any ideas or is it a new box cheers

    if people would read the previous posts you have to factory reset first before scanning as scanning by itself wont work,and if on n3
