Mitsu L200 limited to 65mph

Hi folks,

I hope this is in the correct section.

A work m8 has an L200 which is limited to 65mph. Is it easy for non-mechanic folk to deactivate this or would he need to put it into a garage? It's a rental but paid for by the company so don't want to fcuk it up.

It's cool, we sorted it. Just cut the wire going from the ECU to the speedo. Going to put a switch in so he can enable it at any time.
