give that a bash and see how you get on
I am going to give this a go as it looks easy to follow.

On the guide it says make sure your DHCP is enabled?

How do you enable/disable DHCP? I am completely new to this and don?t want to c0ck up either my laptop or the DBox2.

What are the implications of either enabling or disabling DHCP on the laptop.

    Thanks

    Directly from laptop to DBox

Do I just copy and paste the nagraron7 from the laptop to the Dbox using a crossover cable?

to turn off DHCP on the dbox
    Dbox>setting>network
turn off DHCP and set the IP address when your in there to
    IP -192.168.1.10
    Sub - 255.255.255.0

    on the laptop
my network place>View network connections>right click on your lan connection and go to properties.
click on internet Protoooal (TCP/IP) so it highlights then click on properties.
green dot 'use the following ip address' and put in there
    IP -192.168.1.11
    Sub - 255.255.255.0
    and ok that,

before you start, reboot the Dbox with the crossover cable connected.
now use the guide and put in the IP addy for the box....

Hi guy's i'm having the same problem i've sorted out the 1st box its working great even navgaram7 updated but now i'm trying to connect the second box but it's not connecting the image on the box is lakypro same as the other but the IP adress is different which is obvious
on the 1st box the IP is shown like this: 192.168.1.7
    but on the 2nd box it's 192.168.100.3?
i'm changing the ip address and also putting in the username and password but its not connecting it says can't establish connection
An existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host.
and i'm using and ethernet cable through a router if that helps can someone please help! please

In my Dbox, I can see many other files apart from rom10 and rom11 i.e. autoroll, autoupdate, softcan etc. Do I delete all files and just leave Rom7 in Key folder?

some people say delete all except the nag 7 files (3 of them), I tried and it didn't work for me.

I put all the files back and just copied the nag7 file. rebooted...waited a minute and it worked

    login: root
    Pass: dbox2

I have put Rom7 in keys folder and deleted Rom10 and Rom11 and left previous file i.e. sofcamkeys, autoroll.keys etc But its not working. Do I delete all the other file and just leave Rom7 file?
