Does the device is cheaper than cheap and poor quality, or whether the device is expensive and quality is cheaper?

    What is your opinion?

What i am trying to ask is either cheaper and poor quality device is cheap or expensive and good quality product is cheaper? Because you can buy something very cheap but you can have lots of problem with it so it makes it expensive...for example china products

If you expect it to last, buy the more expensive variety.

If it only has to do a job once, the cheaper the beter.

    Simples!

It all depends are you willing to take the risk. The genuine devices are covered by a warranty/support where as cloned/copied have no warranty and you dont know whether it will work or not but must say sometimes the gamble on clone items does pay off.

thats why we post success with these tools ..most guys dont have the budget to buy anything genuine
and some dont have a frequent use for some kit
so as it stands buy gen if ya do it a lot or if you rely on the stuff buy a clone if its the opposite
and personally i dont care if it looks like a dogs toy as long as it works
aesthetics aint a big thing with me
if it works then its good enough for me thanks ..

Some people spend effort and money. After someone makes a copy and damage to producers. Just as Chinese do.

I am in favour of genuine devices only if the producer can keep their prices reasonable. for example in auto locksmith trade prices of the equipment are sky high that's why there are so many fakes out.

ask in the dreambox section if they are happy with their clone boxes most will say yes at a fraction of the price of an original

mine is original and i payed through the nose in hindsight i could have got a few clones instead

get the best you can afford and you shouldnt go wrong

I think, it is like a both dead ends and it depends on your luck. Some Chinese products is really good and work for many years some of them doesn't even work at all. If you work with the product for many years, i think getting original product would be better idea. On the other hand, if it is too expensive, you can try a shot to have clone but of course if the price amount is worth trying.

I personally prefer the genuine devices because of quality and support. but like Canker_Canison said "If you expect it to last, buy the more expensive variety. If it only has to do a job once, the cheaper the better."
