wii not working lost homebrew

hi chaps not sure whats happened my son hasnt played his wii for a while until the other day
when he had toy story for his birthday
his played it solid but when he wanted a backup game on the homebrew channel has dissapeared his not impressed

is there any thing i can do

sound like hes updated the firmware,look in the settings and tell us what version your on and what version you was on

i think its 4.3e it did say updateing at one point but when i have just checked the updates was turned off

well my son bought lego indy so hes just completed level 1 so will have a go later when hes in bed let you no how i get on

ok just sat down to do this mod and the first file that it says to download wont let me download any ideas for alternate sites cheers

think i found an altenative download but this is whats happening

loaded the files to the sd card put them in the wii deleted the save game file pressed back a few times clicked on sd it waited a but then crashed saying error #004 the system files are corupt

is there an order i should be doing things

should i put the files on the sd card then complete the first level because hes completed about for levels is this the problem

so is the wii goin to system menu when u power it or is it still saying system files are corrupt?

im pretty certain it will only work on level 1 save file

when i reset the console its fine only when i go on the sd card it says corupt not sure if the correct files are on the sd card have you a link that works then i can clarify if this is the problem
