Thats because you have alot of reading to do, if you have come here thinking to get a key without understanding how it work then you are mistaken.

I could tell it was not going to work when you also asked for a DAS key withou providing the lanID.

So i strongly suggest you read as many thread on this topic by using the serach button, then try the key again

I get a "no access authorization" error in Xentry 03.2010. perhaps it doesn't like the universal developer key I'm using for AppID 252. can I have a dev and a normal key please just to try it out?

You need to do a search & read, it looks like on the surface that you have followed someone elses solution.The first picture shows some type of xentry luanch program that is not required for 3.2010

You need to copy the modified commonlic.dll into the starutils directory i believe.

Try this key:
