Default How to : Auto close and the auto re-open windows

Scenario. Your window's half open. Passenger fully open. Moonroof (on tilt), rear passengers open just a bit. You see a smoke cloud ahead and don't want it to enter the car.

Hold down the "Recirculate Button(Car with circle button on Climate control)" for a couple of seconds and
    a) All windows and roof closes,
    b) Climate start to operates at auto.

Once you're out of the area, hold down the same "Recirculate" button again and all windows and roof return to their original positions prior to closing it.

I tried it om my W211 and it works

Try it, Enjoy and report back !!

And do not forget to press the button !!!!

    Hi good friend.
    Nice "patch" mate.
The good thing is that you keep the DigitalKaos flag still verry high.
It is really great to support this place with good words arround and you know what i mean mate.
Cause all we talk about now started from this place wich it is still pioneer in automotive stuff.
    Well done mate.
All good things come to those who wait....

This trick is actually in the owner's manual

Called the "tunnel close" feature - used to prevent exhaust fumes from entering the vehicle when entering tunnels.

It does n't tell you though that pressing the recirculate key gain, all doors - sunroof will open again to the point where they were before - Does it ???
