Default Cool your Openmedia Open Media Dreambox down in under a fiver!

I've been running my OM 500CS fine when it was running on cable. Its still fine on the sat side, however I've noticed it's plugged in to the sat side, it gets a little hot!

So, what I did was purchase the following:
USB mains plug-about ?1.20 from Hong Kong
    Two USB fans-Poundland/eBay
    One USB four port hub-Poundland

So, I simply connected the USB hub to the USB mains plug, and then connected the two fans to the hub. I placed one fan on top of the receiver, and one at the bottom.

At the top, I've placed the fan so that the fan faces up ie: you can touch it easily

At the bottom, Ive placed the fan downwards ie: facing our TV stand

I've found that placing them like this produced the coolest running of the receiver

I only wish I thought of this when I had a Dbox, as it was devalued as a result of it getting too hot -and I instead bought little RAM heatsinks(to not much effect )

I'd be worried using a 1.20 mains usb plug to be fair mate.
