There is a side airbag sensor (P72) within the passenger door, remove door trim to access, two wire connector to sensor, one wire white, one wire brown/white.check connector and pins for corrosion and loose fitting, also check connector X12 ,main connector between door and car.water ingress here can cause high resistance and incorrect readings, the connectors underneath the seat have no relevance to this trouble code.If all connectors are ok ,disconnect K31 airbag ecu connector and P72 side airbag sensor and battery and check for high resistance on the wires from sensor to ecu,If wiring checks out replace P72 sensor first then ecu if fault still there.
    Hope this helps
