any way of identifying inlet / exhaust cams,
maybe there are Marks like "IN" end "EX" somwhere!
or do you have any Workshop Manual for it? if yes you can put on the timing belt wheels an have a look of the marks if they are correect??
enjoy and have Fun
Tom
On the end of the camshaft shoud be a number it should be different on both camshaft you can look in parts catalog and identify them.
no manuals available
only marks on them are
L1 C
L1 E
if i treat the "E" as the exhaust then the exhaust valves are nearly fully open at TDC......THAT cant be right...
with "C" as exhaust and "E" as inlet , then No1 Cykinder valves or "on rock" with valves closed so that looks right..
so will give that a go..
I HATE RENAULTS...........................
remember, the french do things for no reason, just topiss you off and the often count number 1 as end next to flywheel
is this from that other thread, you got collered with?
Was Banned For Being Certifiably Insane and Stupid
Thats the one.....
needed 14 new valves..
and a good kick in the ass
