    Default toyota yaris key programming

Hi I am a noob here & wanted some help.
I have a 2008 toyota yaris with no keys, they were lost.
I have a new key from toyota but need to learn it to the vehicle.
I am told I can use a programmer to reset the ecm to virgin mode & then learn the keys.
I want to know if this is correct & what machine would you use, I have been told the sbb or the t300, but the suppliers dont really know if they will work.
and if one of these is suitable, is it simply done via the obd port or does the actual epprom ned to be removed?

    Hi
you need simply sbb to program yaris keys..but you need also pin code to do that..so maybe you'll remove eeprom to extract pin code then program your keys..

ah that is what i needed to know, so the sbb will work. is there any other way to aquire the pin?
i would prefer not to remove the eeprom as I have never done this & also dont have anything to read the data with.
what would i need to read the eeprom?
and are teh usually soldered ?

does this work even if you have no keys at all? meaning a new key with the relevant transponder put it in the ignition and the dongle programs it? without the need of reading the eeprom in the ecu?

if so any links to it please?

    Hi

Could you please explain how did you use this tool, i mean step by step to program the new key in.

Or, if there is any good link which explains clearly how to use this tool would be very helpful to all here.

Also thanks for giving feed back that you were successful in using this tool.

    Ash

    Thanks Ash

Oh yes if my post was helpful than Please don't forget to press the Magic word Thanks
