There was a sales person who came to me almost a year ago and said the new Launch could also do chip tuning and he could activate it for me after I buy it.

I asked a couple of questions to make sure he knows what the heck chiptuning is and of course he did not have any clue.

A simple question was "where does it get the remapped file?", Any car has its own remapped dump and it varies from city to city even for the same car, all I said seemed Greek to him.

I asked him to try it on a Mercedes for me, but he said I had to buy the tool first and then he would activate it for me... There you go, IT WAS ONLY A SALES PITCH and a lie.

For God's sake, if they can do chip tuning, why they kept it secret? Why are they NOT making money out of it? Why are not they selling it on their website?

I don't say it's impossible, but please someone explains how it does all those fancy stuff and educate us too.

I think Launch is losing its market share and these are all efforts to keep their head over the water, just my two cents.
