This dashboard stores the immo information and since it's been messed up will not start anymore. You can try to open dash and read dump from eeprom and post here. Maybe someone here would be able to fix it for you. Some other dump with immo disabled may help as well but I think that you need to read dump from ecu as well. Without the right skills and tools you can not do it. Better try to find someone experienced near you that can do it.

Maybe it wuold be easyier to just replace cluster? If you have VCDS its easy, just need PIN.

    Hello

Did you try to alter the Millage using Vag-Tacho

If you did so than its easy to look for other instrument as advised by
    Loaded.

    Good luck

    Ash

    Thanks Ash

ok thanks guys, he was using vagtacho as he just got it but was messing about at different things as wasnt sure on how to use it but didnt think it would cause this..
he's now got the pin code..he got it by using the super vag k+can v4.8 but it will not allow him to go any further as keep saying "failed"

so what in your opinions would be the best way to proceed,
do you's think the cluster would not be worth or cant be fixed? after all did allow him to retrieve the pin code so maybe some hope

    Hi

You don't need to buy any other tool to do this job the Super-Vag you got can do the job as long as you can extract the pin code.

Get other dash program the keys and it should start the car.

Also have a look here may be you can find one on here.

a-4 cluster items - Get great deals on eBay Motors, Audi items on eBay.com!

    Hope this helps.

    Ash

    Thanks Ash
