Went to the brakers today gets some bits, spotted this, dirty tank or someone told him that they are add on petrol boosters for more BHP, also look at the red dots on the alternator is that for lining up the pulley to change the belt ??????????

One filter for each cylinder, I guess you will find the fourth if you look for more carefully ;-)

And the dots you need for changing the belt, right. If the alternator position is 180? wrong, you will change the polarity (+ and -) and the starter turns backwards ;-)))

Yes the positive stud on these stupid Valeo/Paris Rhone alternaters can be either side, 6 diode, or 9 diode (single wire reg ot twin wire reg)

The starter will NOT turn backwards with power swapped round.

If you wish to know more, swap field coil windings for one and look at a series wound wench for 2
