    This is not the worst of the variations. Some of the Chinese clones have the cable between the printed circuit board connectors

    actually, cables are good because in it goes high voltage and that is bad for PCB.

    I understand beklarm was referring to different cables from what beklarm was referring, if I interpreted both right.

    Anyway, the cables between the two round connectors are good for a genuine tablet, if anyone is using a clone with that tablet. These cables feed high current (I believe beklarm mentioned high voltage but meant high current), the tablet charges batteries from the car, via the mux and also powers itself.

    The mux MasTak was showing is based on the Chinese crap C4 (flat box) circuit boards and is generally considered crap too. 99.9% of broken multiplexers are these (or some variants of this design).

    Interesting that MasTak has had more than once problems with the flexible cable. I would like to see photos of the damages. One problem with those is that the C3 case may cut the insulation when the circuit board is pushed into the case. This design anyway is a 99.9% copy of a genuine C3 mux, assuming equal quality parts are used.
