ford 7840 SL

hi

i have customer with 1986 ford 7840 SL not driving. no gears and no dash display.
someone connected up jump leads to wrong terminals.
has someone wiring diagrams or would it just be fuse or relay etc.? i havent seen the tractor yet but owner said he checked fuses already maybe not check correct fuses..!

can anyone even tell me where the best place to get such information.? i always like when i go to a job, have a bit of a general idea how systems work etc, weather it be car, van, truck or tractor..
