    Default Help! looking part in England Ford Escort automatic

    Hi friends! i'm from Spain. I've got Ford escort 1.6i 90ps, year 1996 automatic.

    I need cable for automatic gearbox, here in spain, Ford sayd that is out of production. Don't make it.

    finish number is: 6732880
    ref: 91CT-7E395-BC

    I call the UK all the time for Ford spares we have a couple of MK1's here, I'll ask the guy that does the old Ford parts to see if he can get one

    Car manufacturers should produce parts 25 years after they stop producing a model. Tried a scrapyard? Maybe you could get a used one. Sorry for my poor english

    I have called more than 15 scrapyards, and nothing!!

    i have try to find in internet, but i can't find it. Yesterday one Ford distributor try to find in all distributors of Spain. Nobody had it.

    I thougt in England or Usa could make it. If anybody can help me would be perfect!! The old cable is blocked, can't move it.

    two possible's here, does the top end of the cable go to the throttle pedal or the injection butterfly.

    friend! cable goes shifter to automatic gearbox. On the picture number 23 goes to automatic gearbox.

    today we are trying to adapt another cable but it's very difficult, is weak and too long, doesn't work!!

    sorry for the confusion , i do have 2 s/h selector cables
    in stock 85CT-7E 459 AA & 92CT-7E 459-BB if either of these can be adapted pm me.

    just a thought but will a fiesta or an orion cable be the same
    worth a look on tis as it would open up more posibilities ?
    Today is the Tomorrow you worried about yesterday ......Was it worth it ?

    well mates! here in Spain Ford don't want work. Said me that was out of production. they haven't got in Spain, and all europe. they try to find in another dealers cars but went impossible find it. Finis number only corresponding escort.

    i have invented soldering irons rods "special" cable, hahaha but now works forever.
