    Arrow Can I upgrade 3GS 4.1 to 5.0.1?

Hi friends. Please tell me if ok to upgrade.
My "new" phone is 3GS model MC138LL Serial 88925Nxxxx (Week:25, 06/2009) Jailbroken, IOS 4.1, BB 06.15. No 5.0.1 shsh saved in my computer, but 5.0.1 saved at top of Cydia home page...
So, any way to upgrade and jailbreak (untethered)/unlock???
    Thanks in advance.

You have your SHSH saved on Cydia...good....since you have the iPad baseband for your Unlock you will need to update to 5.0.1 via a custom firmware...use the current Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze to build you firmware...Goodluck...

Thanks very much! I know here in DK I can found alot of tutorials, but please, only a few questions friend Fijiman:
Could I only build a custom firmware, put my device in DFU, open Itunes, pressing shift select this custom firmware, restore, then jailbreak and unlock??? No Itunes error? (3194, 16xx ...)?
How can point server to cydia? erasing last 2 lines in "hosts" file (win XP)?
    Many thanks in advance Master
