Just a thought, what about opening an email account like Gmail with a 7-8 gig storage and give trusted people the password to post their links etc

gmail idea is great, but would need a 'mod' who can reset the password if some dick changes it thats all.

I can host in Serbia mate. We only have laws that protects Microsoft.

In forum feedback and suggestions one member gave a good idea. Maybe we can make as he said a request sub forum. Just the names of the software would be posted and exchanging would go by PM`s and e-mails.

Definitely worth separating software download and key type requests and deal with them via email and PM at least as the less popular software/key needs are buried. An FTP site would be great. You could post a request via txt doc in a request folder. If the request is fulfilled the uploader could leave a counter txt doc with details then an admin could delete both docs or move them to a fulfilled folder. You could still use file share sites by adding txt docs with links. I would definitely contribute to costs.

How about just a closed site that is by invitation only to people that are know on here to not have sold out to ebay or blown any whistles. That would keep the companies from looking at what is being shared.

Let some of the new people show on the regular forum that they are interested in helping out and not just selling what they can find here or running to tell Big Brother before being let in.

I made a request to DF to make a sub forum for soft request/ install help. I think this is the best way to share, it is up to the person with the soft to reply and he can restrict who he shares with. This would help with " leeches"/ " sellers" the sharer can check his DK activity/post content prior to sharing. It has gotten very annoying with all the " willy-nilly" software requests/ help posting popping up every where. It is making it difficult to help people with all the surfing that needs to be done. Replying by pm or email would keep the soft of the forum. It would also clean up the forum from alot of extra posting in the wrong areas. If I'm wrong please someone correct me. It is my opinion on this matter, but opinions are like assholes everyones got one.
