You need special motherboard for kts 650 there was 3 diffrent:
    1. celeron 400, 128RAM (possible to upgrade to 256RAM not more)
    2. celeron 650, 512RAM,
    3. pentium 3, 512RAM

You can also change motherboard kts 670 pentium 3, 1GB, 80HDD and will be work with SD 650.

Original piwis recovery dvd can power up kts 650 without any troubles .Same hardware uses.
Just reflash kts with piwis firmware after restoring .
I HAVE NO recovery dvd on hand now !
Sure obd cable should be right prepared to porsche .

The 650 will work as a PIWIS if you reflash it, tried it and it worked. But you need the Porsche Recovery Disks

Its a SOM "System on Module" made by Kontron for industrial applications.
So it's nothing "ordinary" from a Laptop, so no consumer gear.
