    Default wii update

    i got a wii on 3.4e had it for 2 years and never took it out the box, wii connects to my router but wont connect to update the software. whats the best thing 4 me to do im lookin at downloading games to play on it. want some advice b4 i dive in head 1st!

    Rent a copy of Super Mario Bros Wii, stick it in you wii, accept the disc update, and then use the 4.1 softmod guide in the download section.
    PS. don't update online, the hack is a lot harder, as nintendo will update you to 4.3

    currently using modmii taking 4eva to download everything but almost done going to 4.1

    Never used Modmii, read a little about it, take your time and read everything carefully, post back how you get on.

    stuck already! basically cant install bootmii to boot2 so i need to do it to a sd card or somethin but i only have the one card! so i cant do a nand backup at the mo! need two cards i think

    How'd ya get on, d/loaded modmii after chatting to you lastnite, seem's cool, you reckon it just took a long time to d/l everything ? Hope it worked for you.

    yea it all seems ok yet to try a downloaded game tho! keep downloading shit! took a awhile to download yea but id say it was worth it, much easier then pissing about gettin a bit here and bit there, jus ttryin to sort out a usb drive to work in it and see what happens
