Default Iveco Daily 50c14 edc 16 c8-non starter

    Hellp guyz
I am working on this Iveco daily 50c14.I am having a very similar problem to another user on the ilexa forum so I am just gonna paste his thread. In line pump working.has one error code 575 immobilizer communication faultyhere is the link to his thread
Miscellaneous, Iveco daily 2.3 Diesel 2003. Non start

The above vehicle has no fault codes but the 5v feed to the sensors switches off 2 secs after cranking (engine relay not holding in) - If you bridge the engine relay it still does not start - only recording 60bar fuel pressure (injectors and h.p. pump ok), no supply to injectors or any signal to fuel pressure regulator.

Tried sending a correct signal up the fuel pressure sensor wire to tell control that it has 250bar fuel pressure but that does no good.

If you look at the immobiliser unit it keeps occasionally logging no communication with engine ecu code but not always.

Key code warning light on dash works ok.

Thanks for your input Paul.the vehicle came in with a flat battery(driver cranking it) I removed it and put it on charge. We used one of our stock batteries plus jumpers, the car still did not start.

    Red face

    Update on this.
This vehicle is back in the shop.Customer took it to a diesel shop and they said it was the high pressure pump. They put in another pump and guess what the car still does not start, they told him that it is now the ecu.I knew that this will happen and also told the customer that there is nothing wrong with the pump initially.

Please guys help me out on this one.Its driving me bananas and is also taking too much place in the shop, the piece of s**t.

If You are shure about injectors are good, fuel pump is good, next thing what I would do is check signals on camshaft and crankshaft sensors. Can You see on actual values engine speed?
Hmmm....I might be posting every day the same question.....Hmmm....but if car doesn't starting this is first place where I'm looking.
No engine speed = no rail pressure.

    Default FiXed

    Hello guyz,
Just an update to this.We managed to sort it out. There was a volt drop to the immobox on startup only(can you F*****n believe it.I just ran a direct 12v from battery to the immobox and it started up.It was a fault with the ignition switch.I hope this helps somebody else out as it took me a looooooooooooong time to trace the fault and I never recovered my money.I will post more about that in the"whats your biggest f**kup thread".
