Default 2005 Mini Cooper Ocupancy simulator

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to simulate 05 Mini Cooper occupancy pad using diodes and resistors?

There are three wires running from floor harness and disappear into the seat cushion (k-line, 12v, GND)... but from there does anyone know where to hook up the (diode / resistor)?

    Thank you!!

    Thank you!

I purchased carprog universal simulator... when I simulate "occupied" using their instructions for Mini, the srs dons't recognize it... but when I simulate it using 05+ BMW, it worked for 3 days, then the airbag light came back on... Now everytime I plug in emulator, the main SRS fuse blows... I checked all my soldering points and wiring.. and can't figure it out...

    Anyone had this issue before?

    Thanks!

sound like the occupancy emmulator has shorted out.

I have a pic of how to make an emmualtor which I will post, its not mine, I wont take the credit, I found it here a little while ago & thought it might come in handy, so to whoever wrote it, thanks

In response to cqae, thanks for the help, but that diagram doesn't make any sense to me.. I have 3 wires running into cushion. (12v, gnd, k-line)...

    No, I don't have INPA.
Are you saying that I could change coding to by-pass occupancy check?

    Thanks anyways!

    yes you can
you can just unplug the seat occupancy sensor and disable it using ncs exper

Default Seat occupancy simulated, now buckle issue!!

Thank you all for your help.. I don't have NCS, so I decided to use universal simulator from Codecard.

It got the occupancy working but now the chime rings all the time for passenger seat belt on buckled...

does anyone know how to simulate the seatbelt buckle? (w/o ncs)

    I read the voltage:

    Seatbelt plugged = .67volts
    Seatbelt unplugged = .72volts

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
