Default Can't get HBC to load!!!

    HELP!!!
Ok, here's my problem. I can"t get HBC to load. From Wii or Bootmii all I get is a black screen. Here's what happend... I had 3.2u and all was good. I played GH6 (PAL ver.) using USB loader. Game froze about an hour in requiring a hard reset. After that HBC would not load. I tried deleting and reinstalling using the old Twilight hack. Seemed to install ok, but still no HBC. Unfortunately, I never made a nand backup (dumb-ass!). Reluctantly I updated (to 4.3u) thinking it would remove all mods and I'd have a clean slate to reinstall. Found your forum, dl'ed your hack pack, and got HBC, Bootmii installed (as boot2). Booted back to Wii...and still no HBC. The screen just goes black and I have to hard reset. I did the nand backup from Bootmii since HBC would not load. I'm lost now. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance.

are you using the homebrew from the 4.3 tut off this site? because using a older version will get deleted everytime you start the wii.

Yes, I'm using everything that was in the pack from this site. Last night I backed up all my saves and formatted the wii. Ran Hackmii again. Still nothing. The HBC is there on the wii menu. But when I select it and go to start, I just get a black screen. Same if I try to load it from Bootmii.

did you prepare the card in the hackmii installer? cause this writes a few files too the sd card,if you didn't try installing again and choose prepare sd card,
if that still dont work try changing the .ini file in the bootmii folder for this one

    @ ck-ok
Thank you soooo much!!! Preparing the SD card worked! Been pulling my hair out over this for a week. I really didn't want to upgrade from 3.2u, and now it seems like I didn't need to. Oh well, at least I've got my stuff back. Thanks again for the help.

@ pob369 if your wii has never been modded before you will have to use the lego indy game on 4.3e consoles as far as I am aware. I rented mine from Bl*ckbuster :-)
