    Default Starview 2

Just tried the latest starview 2 fix only to get a black screen on tv and a box that just says 'on' cannot do anything with it, does anyone know why ?

OK anyone having this problem it sounds like a bad flash. You need to:

    - Turn the box off from the back switch.
    - Have your loader ready with the bin file.
    - Press download and wait a few seconds.
    - Now switch the Box back on
    - It should say flashing on the loader, you will not see it count up on the SV.
    - It will say FLASH BURNING in the loader.
    - Please wait until its says 100% complete, but wait a few seconds until it says OK. DO NOT disconnect until it says OK.

    NOTE:

This may take a few attempts but will work.

Please remember this is only to be used on GENUINE boxes.

This may help some who are having problems with box just displaying "on".

Go into menu, on installation press 1570, the "CAS menu" appears, on nagravision press ok and go to your provider.

If you cant change key 01 to key 00 or visa versa go back to "CAS Menu" and select option "set default key" now go back into nagravision again and see if you can change key 00 to key 01 or visa versa with the arrow button. If you can exit back to TV, go to a pay channel and wait for it to auto update.

Tip passed on by Wobferry from AF - all thanks go to him.

Can people confirm here as I have a lot of conflicting posts here. I have had it tested and told it does work, by quite a few people. Yet I see conflicting post here?

cant seem to get it to work flashes just fine no errors at all but always same result with "on" the display after a flash and remote unresponive. not too sure on these boxes but from searching it apears the two boxes i have here are orig so unsure, if i flash a older image i can get back into the box

Cheers m8 can you try it again except this time load the logo file also? If you need it I will get it to you. Funny thing it has been tested obviously before release?
