just gone to square one! GRR
When I ran one of the wintransfer.exe the program with the white background came up but wouldn't do anything.

when I ran the other version wintransfer the Silca Remote Service window came up first, I ticked no to the update option, then had to click 'check' I think, with the internet connected it downloaded the v32 and took me to the wintransfer window asking me to select the device (sdd/sbb).

Now when I run either it comes up with the wintransfer program asking which device straight away.

Sounds like we have done the same except

    1) you shorted 7/8 - lifted 7 to 8
    2) you got away with it - i didn't!
    3) What is your password?

    AR*E

So now got this password that no idea what it is.
Cut and pasted the version 32 bin file into to old programme.

    Updated came up blank!

Takes out the 24C16 YET AGAIN to read and see if can do anything.
Just sticking it in the eeprom in the holder and manges to fire it across
the other side of the room!

Now lost intreast (and 216 quid).

Off to set fire to something now. If can't find eeprom, have a convenient radio (working) can rip another chip off!

    Meaty.

I'm looking a TINY piece of plastic - only 24C16 in the house
    got 24C04 BUT too small!

Must have 15 x 93C46's at arms length - (but can't write to them in 8 bit!) - no good for this job anyway.

At least i didn't do a Z786 Special - fire it across room removing from board!

    Hey Paul_12345,
or anyone else who have sucessfully updated their SBB to V32.2

Could you compress your C:\Program Files\Silca Software\Wintransfer folder and upload it or PM me.
Since you where successfull in updating to V32.2 your wintransfer folder will have all the files necessary to update tool without need for internet connection.
This is how my Chinese supplier would send me new updates by sending me the complete wintransfer folder which I would just copy to my C:\Program Files\Silca Software\ and then do update.

    Regards
