Techstream Activation

hi guys!

I just installed Toyota Techstream V5.00 with the mainmenu.exe - worked -
Then did Update with version 5.10.029, now software asks me to activate - tried with mainmenu again, but an error occurs!

so can anyone give me an advice or a solution for my problem?

Main menu is confirmed working on the 5.10 and I haven't seen anyone with a key gen. I suggest trying again.

I would completely uninstall Techstream and start fresh with the 5.10.029

Use WINHEX - tools - open RAM - see Techstream aplication memory dump (at the moment of inquiry a code). If will try, you will find in dump of memory a right code for your software activation.

but the 5.10 is an update, so you have to install a full version (like 5.00) first!
I already tried uninstall and install the full and also the update, but always the same.
maybe i'm doing something wrong with installation or my download ist faulty - because i also cannot find a code using search in RAM

If you not find key, after tommorrow i write instruction how to find key with WINHEX

I write it now (Example with my keys):

Start teachstream.
Press "software registration".
Write this Key (its my key) 647e0b590258936f3e9ec7b1819dc12c17201010091130 and press OK.
Teachstream will not registred, but it generate your key in RAM.
Start WINHEX. Go to Tools - OpenRAM. Choose mainmenu.exe, and choose Entire Memory and press OK.

Then open menu Search and search "LicenseKey" - it is first part of your key.
You find some like this: LicenseKey=1b6bab99a04215e85ce96ef6a5f03129 olVer=5
for me it was : 1b6bab99a04215e85ce96ef6a5f03129
(NOTE: you can find 2 different string LicenseKey, try use it both, but i think the first finded string - it is yours correct)

near of this you can find second half of your key,
after scroll up or down you will see text like this :
"38f558f0011a2b92d180909628b8315dMyCarIsFantastic1 7201010091130"
The text after "MyCarIsFantastic" is the seconf part of your key - "17201010091130".
(NOTE: The text may be another ..some like Toyotaisfantastic)
And whole your key will be : 1b6bab99a04215e85ce96ef6a5f0312917201010091130
write it in window and it will be registred.
USA and Japan use the same key, for Europe you must generate another key used the same technology.

Tried this procedure, after licensekey..or stored license key, all I got is [%s and no mention anywhere of the names you put up. 80764544-5945-CB11-B973-EDEA9C995B55 v_ 5.10.029 Would be nice to have a key....BUT, for those who dont need, here is an alternative: Go to Crogram file >Toyota Diagnostics >Techstream>Env>IT3System Config.ini ..Scroll to the bottom of the file to see
Available function=1
Tisfunction=1
Userfunction=1

And change the TISfunction to =0 save and re-open the program

BUT BUT Dmitry`s way works the Best !

Try enter any numbers (or use my example key) and press OK. Teachstream must generate correct code in RAM for compare with your entered. After this you can search key in RAM.


TISfunction=0 - make teachstream worked witout registration ?

I read some of the posts and I was able to activate techstream 4.0 using winhex to find right key. Just to try, I also edited TISFunction=1 to =0, as instructed in previous posts, it worked both ways. Then i downloaded teachstream 5.0 and the 5.1 update as well but can't find the key using winhex, I now it works with 4.0, but can't make it work with 5.0 also updated to 5.1, same problem. I have tried several times and have uninstall it completely. Also tried with mainmenu and gives me this error "This application has failed to start because tiswebapi.dll was not found" Don't know what that means.
I can edit TISFunction=0 to =1 and works...but without TIS functions.
