Sounds like it has L-line problem.

Probably most common suspected culprit are relay(s) and the soldering.

L-line is on OBD pin15, traces it back to the board !

    Hi guys,
yet another case of Lexia that ceased to work For some time it worked perfectly with my peugeot 508. After some time it stopped identifying my VIN automatically (I had to enter it manually) but it worked. However when I tried to use it recently it gets connected to PC normally (led blinks and stays ON) but when I try to perform tests it says something like "no communication with calculator" for all tested modules. Of course I have read this topic and have some typical suspects: optocouplers, relays (checked them and all have 150 Ohm resistance), but what bothers me is why its functionality started to degrade gradually (initially only no auto VIN detection). Do any of you have any idea whether this suggests any particular part failure?
    Thanks for any help.

Is there a sum up of what to check and how to check? After 2 times using and putting it away, after 2 years it stopped working. Can connect to PC but no connection possible to the car.

I'm not sure how to check things, can it be done in circuit or do I need to desolder components? No problem but I lack the basic troubleshooting experience.

    Gents,

Just wonder if a schematic is available of this Evolution interface... would be very handy.
I can use a diagram showing the function of each relay on the board.

Trying to solve a problem with my interface which now only connects to some modules in a C1-2006 model. Engine, BSI etc. are not recognised at all..

    Gents,

This is my old Lexia interface which did work for many years without any problems.
Last time I noticed that CAN cars were not accessible any more...

At that time I used my new interface to diag the car.
Now I got some time to check this defect interface.
At first I checked all connections which seemed to be fine.

Then I powered up only the relay board to measure voltage levels at the CAN chip.
    I expected the next levels:
    Pin 1. TX/RX at 5V
    Pin 2. GND
    Pin 3. +5V Supply
Pin 6. 2.5V with reference to GND
Pin 7. 2.5V with reference to GND

I did not measure anything on pin 6 and 7, so I replaced the MCP2551 chip which solved that problem.

Then today I got a 307 MY2003 at which I could not access any module.
I resoldered all relays and PIC connections and tested again on the car. Now I had access to all modules in the car.

Next is to find a newer car with CAN bus so I can make sure that CAN bus is now also working again.

Like to thank you all for your tips and experiences which you shared here so I was able to fix this device.

I have Chinese device - full chip version, but it can't connect with ESP and Power Steering on Peugeot 407 2.0 HDI 2005.
I tried with 2 different devices from one seller and the same electronics inside.
Any ideas what is wrong with this?

EDIT: Problem solved - checked all the relays and I found one relay pin unsoldered. Fixed with hot air gun.

    Hello,
I bought ACTIA to diagnose in my 307 (2002)
ABS / ESP. Unfortunately, my lexia does not combine with ABS and power steering.
There is no problem with other drivers. I connected to 308 (2010) and everything worked perfectly.

For me, these PCBs look a bit different than the rest, and it would be FULL. -_-

Anyone have an idea what to do?

    Hello
I have ready received my full chip version and it does not works. Connecto to the PC and it's is recognized but I'm unable to connect with car modules.
After some investigation found out that capacitors are missing on the PCB. C50 and c37. Who could share value of those components?

I have connection with the PC, but the car cannot be found.
It tests OK with PSA checker and FW can be updated.

I desoldered every transistor and did diode and resistance test on it, every transistor seems OK.
Reflowed the board and cleaned it.

    What can I check?
My version does not have silkscreen on the PCB and has NEC relays.

    Hi there guys.
Here's pics of my XS Evo.
It's detected by windows without problem. It's connecting to a car and reads out VIN with no problem but cant connect to any module.
Any ideas what to change in it to make it working?
