120.000 last
I currently have a genuine Tech2 running version 119.000 of the Vauxhall software. I only use it for my own cars as well as helping others with fault finding, and fitting the odd modification, nothing on a commercial level.
Anyway I tried to program a new UHP module (p/n 13304018) and the Tech 2 won't recognise the module to allow me to program the variants. I have never had this before and it has thrown me (tech 2 shows "Unkown ECU"), I just wondered if this has being fixed with a later software release or if I am missing something really obvious.
123 is the latest according to this thread http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...tml#post835971
I had the same issue with the 2010 UHP modules. Genuine Vaux-com can code them so I use that.
I can't get MCE to work on my laptop as I can't find a memory address it works with, so not tried the image to see if it can do them.
Thanks Pecky, will have a look into it. Just need to find a card reader compatible with the Tech2 card for my desktop.
I think that UHP (if it's brand new) needs SPS programming first. Tech 2 latest version is 122.023.
As pecky said they are already loaded with the latest software, so just a case of changing the variants. Unfortunately my version 119.000 can't do that so need to find a way of updating to the latest version
I can confirm that the 122.023 image posted in the other thread can program the 2010 UHP's.
Attached are the screens from Tech2Win and MDI.
Cheers Pecky, just need to upload it onto my card now
All done and loaded found a compatible pci-pcmcia adapter and Tech2 now running 122.023.
