01 E53 steering angle sensor coding error please help

Hi all, I have a troublesome 2001 x5 that is giving me a trouble code and failing to encode a new steering angle sensor. The error is as follows:

?LWS could not be encoded, diagnostic trouble code 1080 (co api) fault in encoding code?

I have tried coding with 2 different versions of SSS but no luck?I can communicate with the new lws sensor but cant find any info on this problem?Thanks in advance to the BMW gurus?.

hi

use NCS to code the LWS.
engine at idle, car not moving ...do a full left and right wheel turn or use gt1 and do a LWS alignment.
drive the car (min 20 kmh)
