    Default Corsa C Easytronic Problem

    Hi..

I have a problem with the system EASYTRONIC, in corsa C 2001 1.2 z12xe, which shows F in the display, and the car stops working.

not show any error in the engine or the easytronic.

I think it is a problem of the actuator, and would appreciate if someone has some information to repair

    Thanks

Yes his right check also if the Brake Light Switch is Working.
But, most of the times its those two motors which are on the Gearbox they do give problem try tapping them gently and see if that F fault clears and lets you to start the vehicle.

Could be baulk rings in furry box making motors draw excess currants stopping it working.

Bad earth to module on box, bad pos - ALLSORTS of things and they stop working.

Maybee, but has it been used by Petula Clarke just to go downtown. Or has it been used by Roy Oberson who just drove all night on the motorway? Like a dynamo or starter or dynastarter it may have been replaced already!

There is a test flow sheet you can get by *THINK* it's (NO) Luk - whoever makes the system

ep7= earth point 7, it is located behind/under centre conole (where stereo/heater controls are.) ep9 is near car battery. these will be wires bolted to body of car. remove/clean terminal and car body with wire brush on drill/put back. bad earths are responsible for lots of faults on cars and as the repair is free and easy it is good practice to start with the fuses and earths for 10 minutes before digging deeper, hope this helps, regards steve

There are some main troubles with easytronic, but first of all you have to read fault codes from easytronic control unit.
