Default Anyone know where I can get...........

Hi All I have an old Sykes Pick fuel pressure test kit that I got 20 odd years ago when I lived in the UK, in the kit it has the SP 014809 quick connector for the fuel rail with the schrader valve fitting, went to use it today on 2000 Corsa B that does have the quick connector on the fuel rail but the bigger type does anyone know where I can get an adapter or even a replacement for the 014809 that will fit straight on to the gauge ?

    Thanks

You can use the SP 014809 quick connector mounting it on any old piece of pipe with schrader valve that it fits to (or any other quick conector attached to an old fuel filter). On the other side of the pipe/filter you can put on a hose that will fit the CORSA B entrance and secure the hose with clamps.
    Isn't it easy and cheap?
Yesterday we stood in front of the abyss. Today we'll move ahead.

If you need any repair manual, pm me- maybe I can help you.

Thanks, you can BUT you have to remove the valve in the Corsa B fuel rail or the fuel wont come out and I dont know if they are removable , never tried and the problem is if you do get it out and then there's a problem when re-fitting and it does not seal then a change of fuel rail, bit of a nightmare just to check fuel pressure

If you take your old car into the aircon man and ask him for R12 he says "no no no, that's illegal you cant have that" if you say him you wont tell anyone he says "oik then, bring it in" and charges an extra 20 euros for using the black gas

OOOOHHHH. Unable to back my claim up, other than there IS a rumor going around AND the word on the street said so.

ALSO this is what Meat-City-Vauxhall use on there fuel pressure gauge
on vauxhalls! VERY usefull if you need to syphon a bit out of a customers car.

    Unable to explain your problem

UNLESS you don't have the bussiness end - just the gauge end?

Its is the same, the nob jockey waste of space dick head in the shop gave me the wrong one, Ive been here 18 years and me Spanish is not that bad, I went to the shop with this:

and told him I wanted the 7/16 fitting, he gave it to me and on the invioce it does say 7/16 fitting, I even asked him if he had a smaller one, the next size down and he said no thats the smallest, I tried it on the car that evening, late, it didnt fit I thought boloix so I took the plastic dust cap with me, the next morning went back to the shop and asked him if he had a male fitting that will fit in the plastic cap so he got one then I asked him for a female hose fitting for the male fitting he just gave me, he said its the same as the one I gave you yesterday, no its to big as im trying to fit them together, OH sorry he said, I gave you the wrong one, here's the right one, I could have punched him, so yes it is 7/16 the same as the R12 low side

    AHH Good.

You see all these members of DK that think the Word On The Street, and thsese rumors that are going around are wrong.

But in fact it was some small Spanish bloke called Manwell that was wrong

    OFF TOPIC:-

The other week we got an telex at work from some Spanish bloke wanting a job!

He had worked in a restaurant in a shopping mall in Spain. Part of his name was Manwell. Talk about having a laugh. We asked for a photo (for the dart board) and heard no more.

    ON TOPIC:

Bonus. What did it cost you - in UKPounds not Grouts or Potatos
