Well the thread is about enabling off line programming, which these passwords are designed to do. It could not be more relevent. Just because the first post suggests one method, it does not make another method less relevent. And for those that dont want to hack into their DAS system, or cannot access their file system, such as on a real c3 or c4 it is the only solution.

"Offline" programming in newest DAS version - You need ? - Good! It's very simple - copy this file to

F:\Programme\DAS\trees\pkw\flashen\ini
(click yes, to replace existing).

And Be Happy !!!

if you not have this function for any concrete car - check first six VIN digits for this car, and add to this file in model section.
for sample - to enable option for WDD221054 - add text string to file :
221.054=YES

BTW at least at my installation of DAS/XD 11.2010 path is not

Do you have the single partition DAS installation? I believe more than 99.999% of DAS users have four partitions and the file at the F-drive. Anyway, good to clarify this for those 0.001% users, there must be a few others in addition to yourself.

This trick does not work the 204. I have already add the first 6 digits of the FIn in the flashen.ini without any success. Someone got a clue?
