Question regarding "nagrarom.bin" files

I have a DBox 500-C

And I have just installed all 3 of these files:

nagrarom7.bin
nagrarom10.bin
nagrarom11.bin

Into the Var/Keys directory but my screen has gone totally blank B8C1 and all the premium and non premium channels dont work now.. No channel works

Any ideas?

Try restarting Evocamd or reboot the box and leave for 10 minutes on an encrypted channel.

Have a look at the camd_cfg and mg_cfg files.

Make sure the Auto Update section looks like this...

# AU
#    00 is ignored (default)
#    01 enable AU
#    02 AU Auto
A: { 02 }

one way to check the attributr of these files, they should be on 755 and not 644 to be executable.
the easy way is to reboot

The files in /keys do not need to be 755, 644 is fine. None of the files in /keys are executed by the image, they might be edited so 644 will allow that but none of them are used as a program.

The emu files need to be 755 as well as the .so files of any plugin because these files are 'run' on the box.
