not so. if you set your profile correctly only your friends can read and see info about you. its better then forums in my opinion as these people are friends and not people kidding on to know this and that which is prob copied from other forums. too many liars on forums and people that have something to hide by not being honest about themselves.

i post what i like when i like on facebook as i know all my contacts. facebook has got me in touch with people from school days and old work mates that for one reason or other we lost touch (well school friends we didnt have the internet and email then) its a brill site for those of us that like it. each to their own as i say.

are you trying to say that facebook is safe for the majority of the people on there ?

lots of people . and this has been used by the press and have got profiles ect from facebook

employers or possible employers use it to screen too
    is that safe ?

also its just mostly full of folk doin there dirty washing in a nation wide chatroom

its gotta be said that when you use the functions on face book you lend yourself to some pretty self inflicted scrutiny from whoever wants or pays

wake up and smell the coffee ....if you think its safe ?

read this before deeming the facebook movement as a sure safe and non intrusive platform

my point is if people wish to post personal info on it for the world to see then they only have themselves to blame. its safe if you protect your profile and dont post detailed info on yourself.
