write dump with BDM fails...
I have bought a BDM Clone (CMD1255 written on it). It came without soft so I downloaded cracked CMD 1255 and dimsport soft.
CMD 1255 doesnt work at all. Dimsport can read perfect.
Writing with DImsport is not writing corectly. it does for some time an then stops with error code:
"Block write error (E08)"

did that already. maybe bad dump in motorola mcu in bdm. just orderen a programmer. will test it in new year!

for information:
I have also BDM Clone (CMD1255 with Dimsp. SW on WinXP)
I have testet on Ford with EDC16C34 (MPC562)
...read & write without any problems!

Edc16u31 dont work well with clone tools . Try put the ecu in the freezer for half an hour , wrap it up in a bag first then try to do a write Originally Posted by michi84

i had a similar problem with original bdm cmd but i solved only with a clone....the problem was an old patch to disable chk control at the file biginning. Originally Posted by mods4cars
