Default Audi A8 D3 - Dashboard beeps after failed odometer adjustment

    Hello everyone,
I tried out the VAG K+CAN 3.6 cable on my friends A8, MY 2006. It didn't work :
    - tried 100 km more , no luck
    - tried 100, 1000 km less - still no luck
    - tried everything again and removing the baterry negative terminal - as before
I decided to leave it alone , as I've heard rumos before that it might not work with A8 and A3 dashboards.

After all my failed attemps the dashboard buzzer (gong) is continuously activated for ~ 1 minute after the car starts to move. It then stops and doesn't come back on until the car comes to a stop and then starts to move again . I've tried recoding the instrument cluster , reseting trip computer , seatbelts etc . I simply don't know what it is . No DTCs, everything seems to be ok ...it just beeps.
If anybody has any ideas , please let me know.
    Thanks

The "beeps" is VAG's audible warning system for low oil pressure, all your failed attemps may have damaged the dump, if thats the case you will have to re-program it

I checked all the measured value blocks from the cluster and the oil pressure switches seem to be interpreted correctly. I was expecting a visual warning as well if the part of the dump that covers warnings is damaged.
Do you know where can I get a good dump for this cluster ? I will post the damaged one here , maybe somebody can help.

    Thanks for your input.

    Hi again ,
Sorry for my late reply . The problem fixed itself after starting the car with the key in the ignition (without keyless go). It's still a mistery to me ...
