if your box is getting a c113 error try doing a factory default using your remote control..

    1. switch box on wait for a few seconds untill booting has finished.
    2. Press MENU on remote
    3. Press DOWN ARROW BUTTON once
    4. Press RIGHT ARROW BUTTON once
    5. Press DOWN ARROW BUTTON twice
    6. Press O.K BUTTON twice.

your box should rebot in 3secs.
check if you get anything on your screen now, if you do, now you can install your software file and scan

    With remote control select;
    MENU--SETTINGS--NETWORK--IPsetup
Make sure it is set to AUTO, then hit OK
If problem persists look at your router settings on PC

Have you broadband modem only or modem/router combination
    Look in PC;
    Control panel--network & internet--network & sharing centre--
    manage network connections.
Disable LAN-connection your box is connected to, wait 30 secs.
Enable same LAN-connection to your box, wait until says enabled
Your network card is now re-set

Whenever your box says scrambled it means it has lost it's
internet connection,i.e. your LAN-connection is intermittent & if
you reset network card it may well solve that problem. If you gave
details of B/B set-up someone could advise you.
Is anyone downloading on PC when box shows scrambled or are
you sharing B/B connection with anyone Knowingly or otherwise.
It is not unknown for neighbours to hack into wireless B/B

It's like pulling teeth getting any helpful info from you. Have you
Carling 1.04 installed on your box, if not do so. If problem persists you could post here with details of your B/B set-up.
Armed with this info someone may be able to help. You could try
SV7 at friend's house just to make sure it's not a fault in SV7
Or you could do nothing & continue pulling in & out LAN-cable

Are you not able to flash 1.04 to your box or are you just not bothered. Because if you are not bothered why should anyone
bother to help you. Your early posts were on SV6 so maybe you
are running more than 1 box in house which may be causing the
problem. I think you would be better to continue pulling in & out
LAN-Cable & not be bothering people here when you won't even
help yourself. My grasp of the queen's english might not be great
but I think the response to your posts should be F**K OFF

You were asked in post#25 to put 1.04 on your SV7, that might
solve your problem but if you don't try it you'll never know.
Your reply was "I have Carling 1.03"
That was some effort you made
