You'll need the european bundle to work with the autoenginuity.
Depending on depth of diagnose you want to acieve you can buy a simple ELM inteface to work on engines in generic mode.
Yesterday we stood in front of the abyss. Today we'll move ahead.

If you need any repair manual, pm me- maybe I can help you.

Mr Teuton is correct, the European ScanTool Bundle goes for $1399.95. And updates are inexpensive, only $50 per region, you can get domestic, Asian and European updates for $150. It's very low compared to other scan tools.

    #SP07 - Includes:
    ? ProLine Interface (ST06)
    ? Enhanced Audi/VW Expansion
    ? Enhanced BMW/MINI Expansion
    ? Enhanced Mercedes Expansion
    ? Enhanced Jaguar Expansion
    ? Enhanced Land Rover Expansion
    ? Enhanced Porsche Expansion

The autoenginuity connector should work with euro cars at least with obdii / eobd or am i wrong? Is it elm based? Then you could try scanxl or something like that to get engine dtc.

If that is not deep enough you can get allround scanner like launch x431, autoboss, actia multidiag, bosch kts or so.

Best coverage you get with factory tools like vag vas or vcds, bmw inpa/ediabas/opps, mercedes stardas, volvo vida/dice.

Depends on how deep you have to diagnose and how much money you wan't to spend.

Thank you all for the answers. For some reason my proline st6 doesn't connect even generic obdii for Euro car. But it works for all domestic( gm,ford, chrysler) and some import (toyota, honda). I have Elm 327 interface which cover gm,ford and chrysler...enhance and generic obdii. But I am looking for buying something not expensive interface like elm usb connector which can clear and reset oil change warning (SRI) and can do some bi-directional control.

For clearing SRI and bi-directional control you need manufacturer specific software to say the least.
That will not work with any generic OBD2 interface/scanner, because it is not part of the OBD2 specification.

So it is true European package comes with Extra interface/Expansion wires then. I thought it's just marketing purpose( which mean just different set of keys to make the program works with regular ST06). Thanks.

Sometimes you can reset the service interval display with buttons from dashboard with a special procedure (like "press button, start ignition, wait 10 sec, turn button to left and so on). You can try to find the user manuals for the cars or the workshop software where this is described.
For older cars you can try kkl cable and software (vag-com, inpa, vol-fcr).

Thank you paro44. Basically, I do so many oil service so I am stuck with warning light reset. Therefore, I'm looking for p.c base tools which is not so expensive but effective. I have many oil reset tools which are 40% of successful reset rate. North American, Asian cars are easy to reset but Euro car give me head-ache. Therefore I'm looking for decent tools to get me going. BTW, I found so many version of vag-com and don't know what to choose. Thanks again.

Which vag-com version is easy. VCDS version 10.6 from Ross-Tech.
