DDT database is indicating you the way it is searching ( the protocol ) your ecus > by a colored rhombus near the ecu name > lighyt blue for K slow init, e.g. Sirius, EMS .., green for DiagOnCAN, orange for K fast init, e.g. DCM12...
You can see there the way your ecu is searched by the DDT, if it has a green rhombus it is seen only by CAN,
it is orange, pink or blue ( light or dark ) you must see it by KKL interface.

Yes, i can unlock ecus from Renos, Sirius32, EMS3132 are a piece of cake to unlock, most difficult - but not impossible ! - for a DCM12. I read it but never rewritten.
Rewriting sirius - ems is usual for me, never tryed for DCM12.
I`ll try one of these days, but the ecu is ok, after rewriting who knows ?

And yes, you must have some access files to do that kind of " weird " job

Friends sorry to post this question here, but I have an issue with DDT2000 V2.3.01 with full database that I download from this thread.

I was reading failures of a 2004 Clio 1.6 16V for first time when it turns on the Airbag error light in the cluster when it before was off.

I try to check out the DTCs of the Airbag module but it through me a "No Database data" when the xml archive is there. Now I can not diagnostic that module, can not read codes of that module and either can not erase the codes too.

Anyone had this issue before? what can be done to solve it? I really appreciate your help.

Try to erase the failures using renault can clip. This should solve your problem, unless there is a real fault in the restraint system.

You have an error for first oxygen sonde ( lambda ) , first sonde on the exhaust line ( in front of the catalysator ), it seems to be broken ( error historyc and current ). This is actually lit the emissions LED on the dash.
But you said is the driver airbag LED is lit. For viewing the airbag computer in DDT select MANUALLY airbag ecu from xml`s BOSCH ABS8X06/X35/X65/X76v1 cause DDT won`t find it automatically, but select it manually and with right mouse button > Read idetification.
Anyway, if airbag is lit, most sure it is a wiring problem, interruption or shorts on the airbag firing lines, verify the wiring under the steering wheel.

No USB > serial port adapter for working with DDT.
Anyway, a PC with serial com port and no USB must be old enough, you must get it to retirement !

No one would be able to cram into a serial Com port ( speed max 38kbps ) the info from a CAN -bus ( min speed 250 kbps )

Having a Derelek interface you worth a better computer !

for KL diagnose don't need derelek serial interface. you can use USB KKL cable for that.

for CAN: if you have derelek v2can + ni-can interface , you can use it with usb-serial adapter.

Why don't you use UsbDiag with CAN and K/L ALL in ONE? )

Or UsbDiag2 or 3 ?
