    In fact, the database is what is most important here...

    I didn't even know about add-ons, so any further info would be very helpfull. Some links, too.
    Did you try to reprog an ecu with ddt ? If so, you know very well that the ddt will try to unlock ecu and after few try it tells you " unable to unlock serial ecus ". For that there are some issues, one is an add-on enabling ddt to unlock serial ecus.
    That`s all i can say, more it`s up to you, m8 !

    Help! I get an error "DDT2000 is not registered" after installation. I copied ddtregisterinfo.dll to where it should be but I still get the same error.

    @simbad

    Ignore the error. After copying the dll, the program is functional even tough it says that is not registered.

    It`s working with k+l lines interfaces ( line l needs only for slow init ecus ), but very important : it doesn`t verify a serial no for the usb interface ( as galetto does ! ), no serial no. needed for usb interface.
    For CAN interfaces is a totally different disscution.

    When you see a new version of Renault diagnostic CAN Clip appears - one each 2-3 weeks - ( now the last ver is v107 ), to be up-to-date then should be a new database appeared for ddt2000 also.
    Does this happen ? No ? Because ddt2000 never keep pace with newest Reno models.

    I think is exactly the opposite: ddt2000 is used by the developers so it should be the most up to date diagnostic program for Renault cars. The fact that the newest version of the database doesn`t leak on the internet as soon as it is realeased is another story.

    As much as I know the newest database for ddt2000 is may 2010.
