    Default Cloned OP-COM v2010 - Big issue

    Hello to everyone.

I want to share my experience with you, because i import lot of tools and now i have notices something very strange for me.

I ordered 2 last orders OP-COM, but when i tried on PIN 12 to access some modules i had problem.

I will attach picture of PCB of new opcom, and that is new big sh*t product of china factory.
Every time if you order OP-COM ask your seller if possible to get old version of OP-com diferent from this one from my picture.

If they don't have, than change seller.

On this one is 3 relay less. But this 20 pin plcc is digital relay like on VAG VCDS. Good known GAL16V.

I try to find where is problem, i think problem is in Software, KW82 protokol dont work.

Second problem might been that GAL16V, wrong dump inside.

    3. prob might be drivers and ept file in ftdi, because this one is V3 and when you install device it says V2, WRONG

    4. problem might be mistake in building PCB.

Dump inside 18f458 on old v2 and new v3 is not same.

Don't tray to flash it with old .hex

I have cracked PIC 18f458 and i have new one hex.

I don't know, i am analysing complete opcom to find solution.

For now i think problem is in PIC or DUMP

PIC= because they use cloned PIC not original Microchip

I will try it tomorrow, i have 10pcs OPCOM.

If ok i'll confirm. But still i think that problem is in DUMP or in Cloned MCU

On pin7 you can connect engine ECU?
On pin12 detect connection and lost communication or nothing? Try different interface type on settings menu, example C or D type interface, maybe working.

Please measure obd pin12 with ohm meter, where it connected on pcb. Which relay, where to wired.
I think all type of interface use same firmware, and software settings (A, B,C,D) use different command for multiplexer relays.

Same happens when i change type of interface, no communication on pin 12, KW82 protocol.
I have 2 different firmware, and bootloader, and still same problem.

    Pozdrav Vanja,

Can you send me two pictures from your first post to my email (info@kdijagnostika.hr). I do not have sufficient privileges to access images on this forum.

If they don't have, than change seller.
    So that's why I can't connect to PIN 12?
Do you know any sellers who have old school op-coms?

    BIG ISSUE???

What happens when you try to connect over pin12? Is it stuck on pin7, or no pin at all?
