hello there i have fiat ducato 2.8 jtd 2001 with bosch 0281 010 454. i want to swap used ecu i want to turn immo off i think i must right? and if im right where is immo stored in eeprom or flash ? what i need to read? any help please

hello guys. i have a project boxer with ecu 0 281 010 931 non start. i tried immo off file (flash 29f) from a good member and van start no problem. i use same file on a spare ecu and van starts no problem. i remove ecu for safe keeping and come back 4 weeks later and plug ecu and van dont start. Original ecu fuel pump primes and van dont start. Spare ecu fuel pump do not prime and van dont start. both ecu i wrote immo off file in flash and both worked and now 4 weeks later van dont start. immo box disconnected. the strange thing is that both ecu give different fault (one ecu fuel pump prime and spare ecu fuel pump dont prime). Both ecu same part numbers.

Can eeprom cause this problem. I never touched eeprom 5p

no, its not eeprom issue, you can make eeprom virgin only if MIL is on after start, or start and rev. The problem is in the VAN, not ECU, check fuel pump in tank

I can confirm that. Found brocken wires to two of these fp connectors. Also, you can try powering the fp with wires from battery and see if it works.

thanks for response guys, fuel pump is good, i used 12v probe to test. what make me suspect ecu file fault is that 2 ecu, same part number, from same type boxer, write same immo off file BUT one ecu make fuel pump prime with ignition on and other ecu no fuel pump prime with with ignition on. Both worked 4 weeks prior. i understand that it could be fault in van like maybe diesel or injector or wiring but like i say both ecu start the van and then 4 weeks later both ecu give different fault and both non start
