Q: I have a tool on my hands that shows when I'm trying to read ID to CAN - "Internal hardware error" - anyone else faced with such error?

    - I have checked if the SJA is supplied - answer it does.

Q: where should I look next?

    I have a funny problem.

    MPPS tool - version 5.0.1.10

    Hardware version - 6.01

Everything seems okay, the version information dialog does NOT say 'this is a clone'.

    However ID/READ/Write buttons permanently disabled.

    Anyone seen this behaviour?

look into Device manager and maker sure you have the interface installed, it does that when the drivers is not correctly installed or interface not connected

Cracking stuff, sounds like a driver issue.

I did actually have problems installing the driver, first two attempts it failed.

Is there a place where the driver can be found seperately from the software? (I don't want to brick it).

PS thanks on the way for you.

    yes sure,

here they are: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

to be sure it will work copy them in c:\windows\system32\drivers

and in device manager right click the interface and select update driver by choosing the driver in the specified address posted up

Thanks once again, I'm afraid it didn't work though.

(it's not plugged into a car in that screenshot but it behaves the same even if it is).

I think it could be a driver issue still, but to be honest the ones you sent installed perfectly.
