you are right mate, we are discussing how to use any loader software to upgrade firmware for other old interfaces that can't upgrade directly as yours or even those damaged or removed units can then try to program the PIC by USB connection only without needing a PIC programmer or connecting wires.

hi mate, thanks for your reply, just a little note, be sure to select the right COM port as the virtual port of the interface driver... I am sure you would do that, but this just a reminder anyway.

I have done this accordingly, of course, one of the loader written into FTDI some ugly info there, I needed to use MProg afterwards to revival the FTDI device.

I'm still looking to see if it is possible to write fw into a empty PIC with these loaders!

Someone has given a Op_Com without software CD, I do not know whether it is original or clon (I think Clon)

Just downloaded drivers to check with OPComFUT
which version is the version it is a Firmare version 1.20



Can someone help with my version of what I need to update and software that I can best use it.

it is the first time in my Op-Com to use....Please Help...

Sorry but, I think this PDF Files are Copy Right Files from other Web Site.............

It would be nice for you to remove them as they are following up now a days...........(For your own Safety reason).........then its up to you...........

hi mate,, of course I would take your valuable advice, but this way I have to remove about 50% of my posts since they all had many copyright protected files and programs, so what is your advice about that too.

Once you have post it and the person has already read it I would advice you to remove it.......... safe for you as well for the forum...........

As I said Copy Right Company's are following it very much now a days because that's where they are now making more money by suing people............

That's what I do, post it then remove it don't let it be there............

I tried pinkfloyd5eg soft to program pic erased by 100315 but it didnt work for me. I selected right com port but nothing happened. Mine didnt erase or write other stuff to ftdi.

The software 110207 doesn't work with clones and doesn't erase them.
our friend miha99 has shared OP-COM 100219a. which is working with China Clones. (see Post#61 and #62).

i have 10029a i just wanted to see if the new update supported any new features as i cant access the ecm option keeps comming up with cant define make from vin or something along those lines

i read on one of the discusions on this forum anout you can connect opcom directly to the psg5 port on the vp44 ecm using pin 12 as + pins 4and5 as - pin 7 on opcom to pin 9 on psg5 plug and - to pin 6 and + to pin 7 on psg5 plug has anyone tried this and been sussesfull as i have tried it but had no joy on the thread it said to press psg5 button and that lost me what is psg5 button? i can connect via can on opcom but get no dtc

All 2.0 en 2.2 DTI engines of Opel are equiped with a Bosch VP 44 dieselpump. OP-COM has the possibility to read the error memory of a pump wich is disconnected from the vehicle with a PSG 5 socket (1998-2002). So it is possible to test a disconnected pump with a 12V battery and OP-COM. This software can be used on all the VP 44 (PSG5) dieselpumps.
