    Default audi A4 1997 model

    hi guys i have a audi a4 1997 model cluster need to change the mileage

    does anyone know where is the chip location ?

    my tachotool not workign so i have to do it the long way

    You'll have to find out what type of dash is... It may be UKNSI and that one can't be done by obd.

    Model A4 / S4 VDO before model 2000
    Diagnostic programming
    Use the OBD II -plug:
    The diagnostic port is in the back of the car in the ashtray.
    Model A4 / S4 UK NSI
    Remove the cluster and open it.
    ? Look for the 8 pin chip 93C56 (not the chip 93C46).
