    Default port assignment

    have bought leads to download firmware for eurovox max v, installed drive for adaptor but i can't assign port, lowest i get is port 5, but as you know i need to assign it to port 1 to 4, can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong, by the way i'm not to switched on with all this stuff, so please make it easy for me to understand. thanx

    go to cntrl panel/device manager > PORTS. find the device listed and dbl click to open the properties and assign it to a port 1-4.

    After assigning my Eurovox Max V the RS232 to COM 1 the loader doesn't recognise it and even when I connect the box it doesn't recognise as well , what should I do ? I NEED HELP PLEASE.

    sounds like the driver is missing or needing updated. do a google for usb to rs232 driver for your op system then update it. There is a driver link on here, somewhere, but sorry i cant rem where.
