Hydrogen Conversion

Dear DKians,

Lately i've heard of the so called Hydrogen conversion thingy!!!

Is it as beneficial as they say?? I mean... some sellers say that there is up to 50% fuel economy

with that hydrogen kits!! Can that be achieved???

-->Also i wanted to ask.... because every kit (on ebay) is different.... what components a system like that needs to be funtionable?
-->Do i need a map enchancer or something or a seperate electronic board that some sellers sell?
--> Whats your opinion about that system?

Yes it was reported in the paper that a team of scientists from I tthink it was oxford Had developed a way to make hydrogen into a ultra fine powder form that could be used in normal car engine with only minor modification.
Cost of the process is about 60p a gallon,

But the goverment have not got there hands on it yet,so if it is true and it is supposed to be only 3 years away.
So expect when it is released to be in the region of ?5.50p when they have had there greasy hands on it.

That sounds completely logical!!!
So.... besides that the government doesn't want to fund on it :P..... do you think it's a way to be more economical?

Is this a version of the "Famous" Browns gas device? I played with that for a year or so, and it got to a point where tricking the OEM computers was a big task...but Maintenance on the fuel cell was cost prohibitive...My Observations..

word on street says there are LOTS of ideas like these, but the fuel ompanys brought the ideas and patented them.

There is a website something like 'water4gas' but if you make one, yes they work, but can draw 25 amps!

some american guy runs his car on it, but it rots engines out, so fit stainlweess stell engine!

If you want to spend money, donate it to the International Red Cross or some other charity.

WOW!! a scam huh???
TOday i called a guy who sells hydrogen... umm he was soo happy i called him to ask about this system :P !! He told me that this system can promise up to 30% economy!!
I think i'm going to his store and make him write a paper or something and guarantee me this 30% and i will try it on my car!!

The story with the man who invented that car... yeahhh!!! Come on... i mean... international oil companies can't let that happen!!

The engine light in your car WILL light up if you save 20 or 25% fuel, so how the hell can he guarantee 30 or more? Never mind the 50% from your first post.
