If who ever is manager of Liverpool come game time puts the right players out on the pitch Liverpool could win this weekend but remember it's a FA cup game whats good winning the FA cup if their a chance we could get sent down by poor league play. What if Gerrard and or Torres gets hurt this weekend then Liverpool will be in really deep trouble.

I hope roy goes out with a bang at the toilet and launches full on attacks, I think the players will rise to this seeing as Roys departure is sealed nevertheless.

Had to laugh at this video though - http://www.empireofthekop.com/anfield/?p=26823

Always been a believer in giving a new manager time and maybe it's to early to judge Hodgsons efforts as he is playing largely with someone else's squad. Fact is he lost the dressing room and once that happened it was a matter of time before he lost the fans aswell. Removing Hodgson just now would only have a negative effect so i feel that the board need to let him take a side to Old Trafford and see what result he can get. A win for Liverpool on Sunday would go some way to restoring the anfield faith. Hodgson will walk into Old Trafford with a loaded gun at the back of his head and both he and the board know it so let's see just what he can muster from his team to save his job and from that deem if he can take this Liverpool side forward. A loss for Liverpool and surely come Monday Hodgson will be down the dole office

    I'd agree with that.

I know he's been linked with the Liverpool job on a few occasions now and I know a number of Liverpool fans wouldn't be that happy with it, but he's better that what's there at present, he's available and I'm sure he would lift the club. His man management skills are superb, I'm sure he would get the best out of the current Liverpool squad.

Look at Villa since he left, those 6th placed finish's now don't look a bad achievment.

Having a temper doesn't make you a bad manager, look at Fergie..

Coyle is an excellent young manager, but does he have the right amount of experience for Liverpool? He's never been around a big club, never mind managing one.

Well he would have more nous then the bumbling woy! And look how he transformed Bolton And his last team too . And he supposed too have turned down celtic. Experience counts for nothing if you are willing to learn from your mistakes and continue to learn. Which woy is not..... Paint it how ever you want too see it .... But results are all that matter and imo i feel woy is out of his depth

I thought you would be trumpeting Sir Walter?

I'm not disagreeing with Coyle being an excellent manager, but it would be a big call for Liverpool to make in there current precarious position. I fancy it's maybe too bigger risk to go with a relativly unexperienced boss.

On Hodgson. This is the same man that many on here were praising for his 'amazing' job at Fulham, especially at the time of the uefa cup final.

Personally I never thought Rafa was that bad, he won you a European Cup ffs..
